Abstract

Aim: The prognosis of endodontically treated teeth is influenced by root canal treatment quality and the remaining coronal structure. Teeth requiring endodontic therapy often present with extensive caries, fractures, cervical defects, recurrent decay, or defective restorations. These conditions can compromise isolation, structural stability, and coronal seal. Pre-endodontic adhesive reconstruction may improve treatment conditions before root canal therapy. This article illustrates the clinical application of pre-endodontic adhesive reconstruction in structurally compromised teeth and discusses its role in endodontic and restorative treatment planning.
